Here are some recommendations of what to order if you dine-in at Yasube.
First, you should try river fishes if you’re staying in Izu area;
ayu (freshwater trout) or amago (redspotted masu trout), grilled with salt or sashimi.
Pop or the regular customers will teach you how to eat the fish grilled with salt the local way.
Other dishes that goes well with your alcohol or bowl of rice are dishes like
tempura, deep-fries, or sake-steamed (asari) clams.
But if you’re a meat-lover, must try their spare-ribs, no words for these.
And last but not least, try their crab miso udon!
This is one of the biggest reasons why Yasube has fans from all over the country and also worldwide.
