Hostel Knot

この地で温泉を発見して湯治をひろめ、湯どころ伊豆でも有数の温泉街として繁栄する修善寺の礎を築いた弘法大師への感謝祭です。
市内から集められた女性およそ30名が、今も湧き続ける「とっこの湯」を僧侶に汲んでもらい手桶に受けて、揃いの着物姿で稚児などと共に修善寺温泉を練り歩きます。最終地点の修禅寺本堂にて、弘法大師霊前に献湯します。

Koubouki-Yukumi is the thanksgiving festival. People give thanks for Koubou Daishi who found a hot spring and flourished Shuzenji Onsen 1200 years ago. You can see a parade. People draw a hot spring from 「Tokko no yu」to dedicate to the spirit of Koubou Daishi.
